Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, invited Investors to Zhytomyr Region
During the working visit to Zhytomyr region on Friday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that this region has unique possibilities to attract foreign investments.
Speaking at the First Economic-Investment Forum "Investment Zviahil" in the town of Novohrad-Volynskyi, the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament assured the current and the potential investors that he personally would exert every effort to support investors in Zhytomyr region. "I believe that these issues are connected with growth and intention to expand influence in the region, so we will make these matters of mutual interest our common cause," V.Lytvyn stated.
The First Economic-Investment Forum "Investment Zviahil" was held in the town of Novohrad-Volynskyi on Friday, June 10, under the patronage of Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Serhii Ryzhuk, Head of Zhytomyr Regional Administration.
The goal of the forum is to present real estate and free land plots for business development.
Commercial offers of Novohrad-Volynskyi district in the sphere of industry, tourism, construction, public health and hotel business were presented. 52 investment projects priced at USD 194 million, 9 land plots with the total area of 412 ha, and 7 vacant industrial and storage facilities were offered.
In Novohrad-Volynskyi, V.Lytvyn visited Novoteks LLC, which was founded with attraction of foreign investments (USD 5 million), and answered the questions of mass media.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also laid the foundation stone of the Ever-Virgin Mary Church in the village of Varvarivka of Yemylchyno district, which should be completed by September 2012.
